I think I might either make this blog a photo blog (since I loooooooooove taking pictures so much) or a blog about food.

I am seriously gonna bring my camera everywhere I go.

Today I am craving.... korean food from Korean Town. I definitely miss the time when jina and I went and had someeeee REAL ( not whitewashed) korean dishes.

If I have a girl in the future, I'll name her mississauga or Canada
If it is a boy, it will definitely be...... toronto or.... George town.
Or... I'll name my babies according to the month they were born. July 'pronounced julie' would be pretty for a girl. October, november or december aren't bad ideas either... cuz then, I can call them ' octty, novy or decy' for short! hahaha!

It is all about the originality. hahaha

Good article! =)

When I'm With You...

When I'm With You
By Faber Drive

Saw you walk in to the room
Thought i'd try to talk to you
Babe, am i ever glad you wanted me to
Its been two years to the day
half the time I've been away
I know I'm not there enough
but that's gonna change
cause I'm coming back
to show you that
I'm keeping the promise that i made

When i'm with you
I'll make every second count
cause i miss you, whenever you're not around
when i kiss you
i still get butterflies
years from now,
I'll make every second count
when I'm with you

yeah we've had our ups and downs
but we've always worked them out
babe am i ever glad we got this far now
still i'm lying here tonight
wishing i was by your side
cause when i'm not there enough
nothing feels right
so i'm coming back to show you that I'll love you the rest of my life

when i'm with you
I'll make every second count
cause i miss you, whenever your not around
when i kiss you
i still get butterflies
years from now
i'll make every second count
when i'm with you
when i'm with you

Good weekend =)

I went home this past weekend and it was soooooooo good. Honestly, I am still not used to school and I dont want to stay in the room all by myself cuz it gets really lonely....

On Friday, I came home and called a friend whom I haven't talked to in a veryyy long time. We went to this Filipino 'store' near my home because I wanted to try filipino food.

Things I learned about the filipino culture:
- the food tastes like Chinese food. It is a bit more saucy and oily
- they dont use knives to cut things. Apprently, knives are for western people. They eat with a fork and a spoon.
- guys are supposed to eat rice with their right leg raised up so their right arm can lead on it to pick up the rice (?) but yea, in the chinese culture or any other cultures, putting up your leg is very rude.
- Everyone gets a plate of food. Unlike the chinese culture, we have a lot of dishes in the center and people just take it whenever they want.
- the food is always accompanied by some type of rice or noodle
- filipinos dont like to eat vegetables. Their food is allll meatmeatmeat!

ya, it was great learning about the filipino culture.
I loooooooooove trying new foods and learning about new culturesssss.

On saturday, it was family day. yay! <3

On Sunday, I read my textbooks and did stuff.... and at night I went back to mac.
Something funny happened in the car while my parents drove me back to school... my dad randomly said that he is a pro at MSN and MSN-lingo. And honestly, it is quite weird when he msgs me on msn using things like.. TTYL and how r u doing? and all these emoticons.. but anyway, he wanted to prove that he knew all these msn lingo by asking me to test him.

Pris: what's ttyl?
dad: talk to you later.
Pris: what's nvm?
dad: ...uhh.. dont know.
Pris: what's brb?
dad: be right back
dad: let me test you now.
Pris: ok
dad: what's ty?
Pris: thank you
dad: what's mgf?
Pris: O______O???
dad: hahaha, ma gwai fan ( annoying/troublesome in chinese)
Dad: what's sc?
Pris: uhh. student center??
dad: say chun ( stupid/dumb in chinese)

HAHAHAHAHHAAH.

Baby I still believe...

Yesterday was quite the weird day... like everything went weird all of a sudden. But I am glad things are sorta back to normal now.

I went to my 10:30am class, everyone waited for the prof to come in, but he never showed. People started leaving after 20 minutes and I followed.
Nutrition got cancelled yesterday.
Went to Gemstones and learned about diamonds ( which I thought was VERY interesting, no kidding) and then.... all of a sudden after 20 minutes of lecturing, the prof said that he had to go for a student PHD oral exam. haha ya, dan and I were like... O_O?

The drama site was down and I am already up to speed with WOIL2.... I spent the rest of the afternoon reflecting, praying, devo-ing and sleeping. =)

Last night, my friends and I decided to go out for kareoke at babyface. It was definitely worth the moneyyyy unlike other ones. But yea, it was fun singing and dancing your heart out...

Second day of school

Today my roomate, a friend and I went to Tally Ho for the first time.

I thought it would be a nice restaurant but no, I was completely wrong. It was a fastfood style.

The Greek Salad that I ordered tasted like the ones in Commons... except at TH's they gave me more feta cheese.

It wasn't anything spectacular.

First day of school

It was good.

Went to Daebak for some korean food with the roomate and a friend.
The kimchi ji gae was superb!

second day of school tmr!

okay, I have to stick to my new years resolution....

Everyone knows that I have a big bum and thighs and honestly, I have to blame it on the excessive sitting and the lack of exercise due to the excessive sitting. But yea, my dad is always against infomercials cuz you know.... they are always fake and stuff and they make the product loooooook so tempting to buy (when really it's not) and then when you actually have the product, it is dysfunctional and then you'll have to pay to call in for a refund. Oh, sometimes you might also have to pay to call the number on your television screen and you can't forget about the shipping and handling fee. Okay... but my dad is a big fan of The As Seen on TV store, because products that are shown on TV are right infront of you. Most of the time the product is set up soo you can try using it before purchasinggg! You just can't not believe it. Anywho, my loving dad told me last month that there's this machine thingie called the "Leg Magic" that can tone your thighs, abs and buns. All you need is ONE minute each day. And I was like... whoa.. that's soo tempting and I saw it on the infomercials on channel 22, which makes it even more tempting. So today the entire family went to the ASOTS at Erin mills to get the "leg magic" and now it is set up in my rez room and I will have to use this leg magic machine every single day for 30 seconds per exercise in the beginning and then hopefully I can get to 60 seconds of leg movements going back and forth per exercise. My mommy said she is gonna keep my accountable. =S

( I want to put a picture of the leg magic but I dont know if it is considered plagerism.. unless I reference it... but yea, if you dont know what it is, go google it!)

An hour ago, I tried the leg magic and man... I felt the burning in both my inner thighs! I realized that ONE minute was JUST toooo long. Soo I am assuming it is working? mann, I am so out of shape. Gimme volleyball!

I really hope that this thing can tone thighs and bums and hopefully give me a sexy body? If not, sexy legs at least? hhahahaha. joking =P

The end of CHRISTmas break 2007

This Christmas break was one of the BEST Christmas breaks ever. I literally had family dinners everyday from Dec. 20-Dec. 25 with aunts, uncles and family friends. Lotsa of family time is always goooood. =) Besides eating out almost every single night with family, I went shopping 4 days in a row. Buffalo shopping on boxing day and square one from Dec. 27-29th. That's right, 3 days straight! And I also went to Sherway on the 29th. Ya. I was quite the shopping fanatic. I've also spent alot of time with zoe this break and I am so glad I did. Honestly, for the 4 years that I've been at MCAC and growing with zoe, I felt that this Christmas break was the BEST break with zoe. I think it is because I've gotten to know everyone over the summer and past years that I feel sooooo comfortable hanging out with them. They have really become like my real brothers and sisters.
Praise God for tabooo, bohnanza! (beans!!!) and DS lites. =)
And Sorry to the 50 highschool friends whom I didn't see/meet up......
Now that the break is coming to an end, I am gonna miss zoe and its closeness. booohooo.....but then, it won't be that bad since we will reunite during reading week. yay!

I wish you all have an awesome last day of CHRISTmas break! =)

You Are What You Eat

So today I spent 2 hours watching 2 episodes of 'You are what you eat' on WB. Okay, that show really grossed me out.
The show was basically about a health doctor/dietician teaching two super fat - morbidly obese people to shed off a few pounds by changing their eating lifestyles. Apparently, the narrator said that one third of the people in Great Britain are obese. And I was like..."really? I thought they were sooo skinny! Look at posh spice" It sounded as if obesity was more of a factor than the united states. Anyways, in the beginning of the show, they showed what the two heavy people eat on a daily basis. This guy ate like 66 slices of bacons a week, 35 rowies (English snacks?)/week, drank 3L of coke/ week and literally added spoonfuls of sugar to their already-surgared cereals. Others were even more absurd, this lady would drink 35 glasses of beer each week. uhh... does that mean she gets drunk every week?? O_O In addition, it made them look sooo bad when the cameraman zoomed the camera to their mouths when they were eating. ewwwww. Anywho, So basically the two heavy people ended up living with the doctor named Gillian for 8 weeks in hopes to change their eating habits. They teach you all the foods that have adequate nutritions and are healthy to the body. For example, I learned that seaweeds have a lot of vitamins and minerals, thus sushi eaters are mostly healthy people. (As for sumo wrestlers, I dont know if they are healthy or not). From time to time, Gillian would yell at the two heavy people who are trying to refrain from eating junkfood... which I think is soooo mean of her. But then, people need discipline, right? But then, she yelled at a reverend who was trying hard to go on a diet.. but unfortunately he failed. He ate somekind of junkfood or whatever and gillian crashed the service while he was preaching. RUDE. And to make the show more fascinating for the viewers, they made the two heavy people collect their feces and analyze them. Good thing I changed the channel fast cuz it would be really gross. GROSS. GROSS. Anyways, after 3 minutes of not watching that show, I switched back to see the ending. The two people got grossed out by their way of eating and they began to eat healthier. In the end, they lost quite a few pounds.

The point of this post is that for one of my new years resolutions, I am gonna start eating healthier starting Jan 7th. There will be no guarantees but I will do my best. Man, I got really grossed out by that show....ewwwwwww. =S

The end.
