You know, last year, Gigi Lai's brother got into a major car accident which got him hospitalized. There was a point when no one knew whether her brother would live or not when he slipped into a coma. God's been really good to Gigi despite of this when she decided to become a Christian during these hardest times. God didn't just save one person, but He saved TWO people in this incident and I really believe that Gigi being a Christ witness can bring many people to Christ...
There was a reason why her brother was in a car accident and I really see it. Sometimes we just dont know what God has in store for us and sometimes when things like this happen, it may look horrible from the eyes of humans, but really, it is God at work.
Regarding the last post I had which I deleted, I shouldn't have felt frustrated, sad, and useless because it might just not be the right timing in God's eyes. Feeling so insecure without a summer job is just like falling into Satan's trap...wanting us to feel bad about ourselves. There is always HOPE when we follow Christ. There is always PEACE when we follow Christ.
Today's bible study really reminded me that we are Christ's witnesses everywhere we go...even to the ends of the Earth. I can't emphasize enough that actions speak louder than words and that people are observing your every move.... or at least I do. We need to stand firm and not lead astray because Satan's really good at making us wobble...
We need to GO to the ends of the earth and tell people about Jesus and how He died for all of us because we never know when things happen. I am really thankful for the person who told Gigi about Christ and how He is the solution to all problems.
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Acts 1:8

you priscilla my dear are so loved. it really may not be the best timing for you to have a summer job! i mean you have 3 months of summer left but you still have to do that course thingamabobber. working against God's will is so hard. it's like trying to push a supaheavy boulder uphill when really all we need to do is step aside and you would see the boulder is meant to go the opposite direction naturally and easily!
in regards to feeling those icky things of frustration and sadness...you need to talk to other people about it! it's so easy for stoopid satan to get you alone and to twist your thoughts when you don't confide in your brethren. but i know you see that now. PTL!
